means life
or death
this one tree
portrays balance
perfection
in wood,
in leaf
its fruit more
than temptation
its aura
both holiness
and protection
until defiled
yet another tree bears witness
the varied fruits
become seed
become life again
and its leaves design
the healing of the nations.
