Praise the Holy One,
who shows us wondrous love
even when we are besieged.
In my alarm I said,
“I am cut off from your sight!”
Yet you heard my cry for mercy
when I called to you for help.
O people, let us love our faithful Protector!
The Eternal One preserves those who trust;
the proud receive just recompense.
Be strong and take heart,
all you who hope in the Holy One.
